Learn More About Re-Centre
Re-centre is a unique pilot project being tested in the Greater Moncton region with the aim of revolutionizing beverage container recycling. At the drop-off self-serve Re-Centre depots, busy consumers can recycle empty beverage containers at their convenience.
Consumers register online at www.re-centre.ca and get a card linked to their account. Consumers collect empty beverage containers, drop them off at their convenience at an unmanned self-serve Re-Centre depot and receive their deposit-bearing beverage container refund via an online payment system. Containers are collected and sorted a few times per week, confirming container counts and crediting consumers’ accounts with the appropriate refunds.
